FAQs & contact
I've been selling cars for years. Do I still have to do the modules?
No. On the Experience Recognition Pathway the modules are optional revision. You still sit the same assessment, and if your result shows gaps you complete those modules before reassessing.
How do you verify my experience?
You tell us about your automotive sales roles and attach evidence such as an employment letter, payslips, a contract or your licence. We review it and aim to respond within 3 business days. You need at least 12 months of verifiable automotive sales experience.
Is the certificate different if I come through the experience pathway?
No. The certificate, badge, LinkedIn entry and verification page are identical. Your pathway isn't shown anywhere.
What if you can't verify my experience?
We'll either ask you for more information or refund you in full, and you're welcome to enrol on the foundations pathway instead.
Is this a licence or an accredited qualification?
No. It's independent, non-accredited training. ABOD AUTO is not an RTO or government body. If where you work requires a salesperson licence, registration or mandatory course, you must still complete it through the government regulator and its approved providers.
Will this get me a job?
It shows employers you've completed a structured induction and passed an assessment. It doesn't guarantee employment.
How long do I have?
12 months from enrolment.
What if I don't pass?
You get three attempts. After an unsuccessful attempt we'll show you which modules to revise, and you'll redo those modules' questions before trying again.
Can I use notes during the assessment?
The assessment has a 60-minute time limit and is designed to test understanding. You must complete it yourself.
Do I need a reasonable adjustment?
Email us before starting the assessment. We can extend the time limit to 90 minutes.
Refunds?
Full refund within 14 days of purchase if you haven't started the final assessment. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
Who can see my certificate?
Only people with your credential ID or link, and only if you turn on public verification. They see your name, the certification, dates and status — never your email or score.
